Scheduling a Facial for My Dehydrated Skin

My skin was looking a little less than perfect, so I decided to book an appointment with my dermatologist. I really like my doctor. I’ve been seeing him for a few years now, and he always knows exactly what type of treatment I need on any given day. He’s one of the best Modesto doctors I’ve ever encountered. This time around, I was fairly certain that a facial would be the best treatment for me. I was feeling like my skin was really dry and damaged. I had spent a lot of time in the sun recently, so that made a lot of sense. I was hoping that I’d be able to go in for really quick appointment and leave feeling rehydrated.

When I arrived, my Doctor greeted me with a warm reception. He asked me what I was there for, and I told him that I thought a facial might be in order. He took a look at my skin, and he said that he agreed. He suggested a five-step facial, which would replenish the nutrients in my face that had been damaged or lost due to the sun. He was fairly certain that this procedure would be the quickest and most effective way to restore the moisture that I had lost.

I told him that in addition to the facial, I was open to hearing any additional recommendations that he might have for me. He told me that other than being a little dry, my skin looked great. He didn’t recommend any additional treatments at that time. I really appreciate his honesty, and I know that I can always trust him to give me his true opinion. Next time I go in, perhaps I will have a little bit more done. But this time, the facial is the only thing I needed to have done.
